This machine can best be described as a revolutionary special and was recently put into operation at the Merba Confectionery in Oosterhout in the Netherlands. Two successful projects have already been completed with this customer. That is why it wasn’t difficult for Merba to find again her way to Tramper and a third project became a fact. The main goal of this project was the significant reduction or even better the prevention of waste in the total production-line. The development of this unique system as well as the production took place in close consultation.
Some important technical details:
- 600 trays per buffer level possible (2 levels in total)
- Approx. 8 minutes buffer time
- Each buffer level has 13 rails divided over the total length in
several sections
- Automatic braking-system to prevent congestion
- The system is provided with slip torque conveyors
- Capacity: approx. 80/90 trays per minute
- PLC steering Siemens S7
- A separate engine for each section (in total 14 engines)
- Length overall: approx. 20 meters
- Load system for the levels by means of two arms and is servo steered
- A sensor system measures the fullness of the machine
